Octopus (japanese st

Octopus is a common ingredient in Japanese cuisine, including sushi, takoyaki and akashiyaki . Takoyaki is a ballshaped snack made of a wheat flour based batter and cooked in a special takoyaki pan. It is typically filled with minced or diced octopus, tempura scraps ( tenkasu ), pickled ginger, and green onion.

Octopus (ta k o) is a regular dish in Japan. Many Japanese restaurants serve octopus, and anyone who has tried it can attest to how delicious it is. The Japanese have been eating octopus for millennia and they have perfected the art of cooking it. You, however, may feel intimated by the weird look of the octopus and not even know where to start.
