Mark Thompson (author) Mark Thompson (August 19, 1952 – August 23, 2016) was an American journalist and author. He was a senior editor for The Advocate and the author of several books about LGBT culture. He received the Pioneer Award from the Lambda Literary Foundation in 2008.
MARK THOMPSON. Mark is one of the presenters on the RTS nominated show Stargazing LIVE which in its second series inspired 4million viewers to get out and enjoy the night sky. He is also a specialist presenter on the Alan Titchmarsh show and a regular on Radio Five Live.
